5th February onwards
'Six Nations Championship'. The northern
hemisphere's primier rugby showcase, the 2005 RBS Six Nations
Championship, is set to kick off on 5th February when reigning
champions France take on Scotland at Stade de France in Paris.
This year the Scots will welcome Ireland (12th February), Italy
(26th February) and Wales (13th March) to Edinburgh and coach
Matt Williams' will be looking for the classic 'Murrayfield roar'

12th to 20th February 'Fort
William Mountain Film Festival'. Taking
place in the Lochaber area and during the best winter climbing
and walking conditions of the year, the festival provides entertainment
in a variety of ways including a very full programme of lectures,
films, activities and exhibitions. This year's main
speakers are: Sir Chris Bonington, "Cubby" Cuthbertson,
