Dear Editor,
the country has gone mad, cigarettes are being banned from shop shelves.
If people want to smoke, they will. If people want to drink, they will.
If people want to take drugs, they will. So why do we have a government
who keep telling us what to do with our lives. The more you tell someone
not to do something the more they will ignore it. So please, leave people
to make up their own minds.

Dear Editor, the cost of fuel is becoming outrageous,
does this mean that when the cars stop running, then the buses, trains
and lastly planes stop flying we all stay at home and cannot attend our
workplace. Great idea if you want a long unpaid holiday. Something needs
to be done to lower the tax on fuel then perhaps people will start moving
around again. I am a great believer in holidaying at home but think of
the consequences all this high priced fuel will bring. It does not bear
thinking about.
