September, Bannockburn near Stirling 'The
Battle of Bannockburn 2004' commences at approximately 11am and
takes place on the original battlefield. Robert the Bruce will be
outnumbered by the English, however over 12,000 member of the public
attended last years event to support him and the National Trust
for Scotland. In addition there will be weapons demonstrations,
children's entertainment and a pipe band plus lots more... For further

Each
Weekend during September 'Doors Open Days'
Scotland-wide. Duff House, Banff & Macduff is open to the public
on 18th September. It is an 18th century
mansion which was at one time the seat of the Earls and then Dukes
of Fife. The building was designed by William Adam in 1735.m Other
examples of places to visit are Maggie's Centre, Dundee which provides
care for cancer patients and was recently named 'Building of the
year' by the Royal Fine Art Commission. For further information
