In our picture above on the right you see seven of the eight magnificent artists. They are from left to right at back Jane Kelly, Suzanne Whyte, Ulla Hipkin, Catherine Freeland, Kirsteen Miller while at the front Jan Miller and Joan Robb. Unfortunately our photographer was not able to catch the eighth, that is Freda Bayne. They all took part in Penicuik’s Art Exhibition that started on 3rd November and will finish on 23rd November 2002. Below our some photos of people admiring the artists work. |

A Customer Contact Strategy for Fife mapping out a 5 year plan which will provide improved access to not just Council services but all public services in the Kingdom has been approved by the Policy and Resources Committee. |
Douglas Sinclair, Chief Executive said: “The expectations of our customers are changing and the ways in which they can contact us are changing too. The Customer Contact Strategy is about providing our services efficiently, in a responsive and customer focussed manner and using methods that customers find easy to use and suit their lifestyles”. |

The Council’s own Internet will be launched in January. It will include not just information about Council services but will also link into other public sector service providers and information will be laid out not as a list of services but in real life events such as getting married, moving house and having a baby. |
