Meet Dundee’s very own Dave MacGregor an amazing 24 year old from Scotland. He is at the moment playing in a jazzy psychedelic rock band coma-toast (www.myspace.com/comatoastjazz1)

Dave in his spare time also teaches the guitar from home. What an amazing guy. We will feature below his Coma-toast Jazz band.

Coma-toast started late in 2007 after Bob and Dave met again after 5 year break from Perth College where they had attended a music course..

Soon after forming the band Bob and Dave wrote a few songs and decided to play at open mic nights around Dundee with a view to forming a full band. At the first of the open mic nights, in the Doghouse, they met Ryan who liked the sound of the tunes and offered to play bass. After stringing Ryan along for a few weeks Dave and Bob decided a drummer might be handy. After standing in for a band cancellation at a local gig Dave harassed Indica's drummer Ed until he agreed to play, possibly just to shut Dave up. After the first couple of jams the vibe was great and the band was formed. Recently Coma-Toast has been playing all over Scotland trying to build a fan base.
