Dear Editor, For months now I have been plagued with phone calls from sales and marketing companies trying to sell me a new mobile phone, which I do not wish to purchase. Sometimes when the phone rings there is no one on the other end of the line which can be quite worrying. I wish these callers would stop this practice. Hopefully those responsible may read this article and take head. Name and address withheld |

Dear Editor, this week I visited one of those Bingo websites and discovered a chat room full of people with a wonderful sense of friendship. Someone in the chat room called himself Blair_Tony which caused a rumpuss at the time as everyone told him to go away. Topics of conversation ranged from having a bikini wax to sexual harassment. All the members help and support each other to cope with any hardship they are suffering. They all have a wonderful gift 'A Sense Of Humour' Name and address withheld | |

Dear Editor, I recently visited Edinburgh and was horrified by the traffic congestion in and around the Princes Street area. The Council have made changes to traffic flow which now CAUSES congestion it does not illeviate it. Is this a deliberate ploy to say the congestion charge should have been imposed? No, it is just stupidity on the rampage, my advice is DON'T visit Edinburgh visit Glasgow instead. Name and address withheld |
