Get active, get fit, be healthy and be happy in 2010! Outdoor event specialists No Fuss Events (Fort William) have announced a 2010 programme of challenging open events combining the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland with energy sapping and heart pumping endurance in a fun and friendly environment - from trail running to cross country and downhill endurance mountain biking to the toughest triathlons and the world's craziest water sport. Though the renowned old favourites like the Benromach Three Tens Series, Relentless 24, the Hope Endurance Downhill and the Big Ben Nevis Triathlon all remain firmly on the fixture list. No Fuss are introducing three exciting new events to the 2010 calendar: The Trail Half Marathon, Scotland's newest off-road run on some of the most scenic trails in the heart of Fort William and Lochaber - The Outdoor Capital of the UK; The Tour De Ben Nevis (sponsored by Orange Mountain Bikes), a no frills, 61km point to point mountain bike stage race that circumnavigates Ben Nevis, taking in some of the most rugged and isolated terrain in the Highlands; The Highland Warrior (70 .3) Triathlon, neither half Ironman nor middle distance triathlon, this is a full on, tough race that will push even the toughest of the longer distance triathletes to the limit. 2010 'Event Programme' includes: 13th and 14th March - The Wee Triathlon,
Fort William - due to popular demand the same event is offered on two
days. With an extended programme of eleven active sports events across the length and breadth of Scotland 'No Fuss' are encouraging participation from first timers, families, work colleagues, weekend warriors and elite athletes. Great events with a fun and friendly atmosphere that encourage participants of all ages and abilities to sign up year after year. With Over 60% of athletes who attended events in 2009 re-booking from previous years, there is a clear indication that customer satisfaction is extremely high and events are interesting, challenging and fulfilling enough to warrant a return.
