Sir/madam, Interesting link to 'Tayside Police Crackdown on Drug Dealers'
(Community News Page). But, lets face it, the truth is that untill the
politicians re-introduce capital punishment, in line with 90% of the electors
wishes, they are beating their heads against a brick wall. |

Dear Editor, when is a 10 year Guarantee for Double Glazing not valid? When the person who arranged to have the job done sells the property to another owner. Recently our patio door would not open and the installer would not repair it, although, when we bought our house the previous owner gave us the document for 10 year guarantee. There are another 5 yrs to run on it and it is not worth the paper it is written on. Trading Standards confirmed that some installers do not allow the Guarantee to be passed on to another person, the original contract is with the owner who ordered the goods. So beware everyone. Name and address withheld. |
