Dear Editor,
Well, what was said about the Scottish Elections being a farce before
they actually took place all came true. I wonder if perhaps the powers
that be will take note of what happened and do something about it like
making sure it does not happen again. I watched the fiasco unfold during
the night after the polling stations closed and just could not take in
what was happening. Oh well we may need the next four years to fix it.

Dear Editor, Someone in their wisdom has decided to install
traffic lights at a round-a-bout on the A9 just at the spot where you
can enter the town of Perth from the west. Traffic jams are in abundance
as people try to negotiate the traffic light system which only allows
a handful of cars to pass. The M25 is notorious for it's traffic jams
but this one beats it by miles. Last week I was on my way to Dunkeld and
had to wait thirty minutes before I could get passed the lights. Not a
good advert for the tourist industry.

Dear
Editor, During the months of May and June the railway companies are operating
a ticket offer under the heading 'Club 55' for those of 55 years plus.
However, GNER appear to be using a different fare structure. On a recent
trip to Aberdeen which I am a regular traveller, I could not purchase
my ticket before boarding the train as the ticket office at the station
was closed. The ticket collector on the train charged me more than double
the price as he would not allow the 'Club 55' rule apply to my ticket.
I am not surprised passengers get confused with all the different ticket
prices.
