to 15th March 2009, Jean Muir Collection, National Museum of Scotland,
Edinburgh. From the swinging 60s to her death in 1995, British
designer Jean Muir held a place at the cutting edge of the international
fashion scene; she was known as 'the new queen of the dress' in Paris
and 'the jewel in the crown of British fashion' in New York. In 2005,
a collection of over 18,000 items was donated to National Museums
Scotland by her widower, Harry Leukert, and are now on display. Details

is a unique venue the home of Scotland's stories on Edinburgh's

The Queen's Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh.
The gallery's Italian art exhibition includes 'The Calling of Saints
Peter and Andrew' by Caravaggio, Annibale Carracci's 'Allegory of
Truth and Time', Orazio Gentileschi's 'Joseph and Potiphar's Wife',
Cristofano Allori's 'Judith with the Head of Holofernes' and drawings

Write! Bank of Scotland Book Festival, Glasgow. This Book
Festival celebrates the rich variety of Glaswegian writing and also
brings the best of Scottish and international writers to the city.
The festival, which is sponsored by the Bank of Scotland, the Scottish
Arts Council and has a media partnership with The Herald, is now
in its fourth year and takes place annually at the Mitchell Library

Comedy Festival. 2009 is a great year for the festival as
we are proud to be one of the official events on the Homecoming
Scotland 2009 programme. Homecoming Scotland is a celebratory programme

May 2009, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Aberdeen. Prints and watercolours
by the renowned Scottish artist John Bellany ranging from his famous
hospital scenes of the 1980s to examples from suites of prints made

21st March 2009, The Deerstalker, Traquair
House, Innerleithen. The Deerstalker is a roller coaster
of an "adventure run" with distance options at 5 km (ish)
and 10 km (and a bit). It's fun, it's fast, it's action-packed and
it's as tough as you can bear. It is described as a "big, muddy
romp" through the countryside, forests and hills around the
famous Borders village of Innerleithen. A full list of details can

27th March to 19th April 2009, Ceilidh Culture,
Edinburgh. A lively and vibrant celebration of Scottish arts,
showcasing music, dance, poetry and storytelling from home and abroad.
