Dear Editor, I recently visited Dunfermline town centre and was totally
confused by the traffic system. I believe the town centre is being rebuilt
in certain areas and this is causing one way systems to be put in place
along with long queues of traffic waiting to park in the remaining car
parks. What a lengthy time I spent trying to park and eventually gave
up and drove to another town to make my purchases. The traders of Dunfermline
must be experiencing a downturn in takings which could be detrimental
to their survival. Let's hope that someone comes up with a solution.

Dear Editor, What has happened to our Banks these days?
I tried to pay a bill at the Royal Bank of Scotland to be told that I
could not do this unless I had a pay-in slip, mmmm no pay-in slips available
at the branch. So what did the teller advise me to do - 'go to another
bank or a branch of the bank of the account holder'. Oh well so much for
service to the customer.

Dear Editor, Some time ago it was decided by the Scottish Parliament
that a ban would be put on smoking in public places in Scotland. Oh good
I thought, I can now visit a pub or restaurant without having my clothes
contaminated with the smell of cigarette smoke. Well not quite, now I
find that just walking along the pavement of any city in Scotland, I am
subjected to people smoking out in the street as a result of this ban.
Who said this was a good idea?
