Dear
Editor, Scotland must be a wealthy place to be especially if you are in
the construction industry. New Tolls erected at the Forth Road Bridge
£6m then dismantled within two years for another £2.5m. We
also have the Edinburgh Tram line being constructed and eventually operated
at a cost of some £600m. Is someone printing money in their basement?
I cannot understand the logic of all of this when the roads need repaired
to fill in the potholes and those humps we encounter on the roads which
are meant to slow us down while driving in certain areas, wreck our cars.
Ah! it has just dawned on me, we wreck our cars on the road which means
we must use the trams while in Edinburgh (no car to use anywhere else)
so we use the trams in Edinburgh and spend our hard earned cash in the
city. Is this Logical?

Dear Editor, It is with concern that I see that Alex
Salmond SNP is off to the USA on a happy jaunt at the tax payers expense.
Is this necessary when there is so much poverty in Scotland? It is time
for a new and better way of managing Scotland’s government.

Dear Editor, How to become a £¾ millionaire - That is easy,
just become the Chief Executive of a Bank. If the bank fails encourage
the new owners to relieve you of your duties. Surely this could not happen.
That is to receive £750,000 just for that? Well would you believe
that is exactly what happened to the Chief executive of Northern Rock,
Alan Appelgarth. Well done Alan. I wonder if your other readers think
this is enough? Well if they don’t I forgot to mention that his
pension fund has been increased to £2.6m, just in case. Not to mention
£10,000 for new security features on his home and of course his
subsidised mortgage. Look forward to any comments from your readers.
