Lochore Meadows which is situated between Ballingry,
Lochgelly and Kelty in Fife is the result of a land reclamation
programme converting coal-mine waste-land into what the area represents
today. The Meadows is a haven for people who enjoy country walks,
wind surfing, canoeing, sailing, fishing, bar-b-qs, picnics and
nature study lessons. It covers an area of 1,200acres of which
260 of them are taken up by Loch Ore. The Meadows are open 7 days
a week and provides cafe, toilet and baby changing room facilities
along with rooms for private meetings and conferences. For further
