Croft and Spring Winds by Dronma

The Aberfeldy Gallery can be found in Kenmore Street in the centre of the town in Perthshire. Any art lover will find an abundance of art work, pottery, jewellery, sculpture and woodwork created by local artists and some based further afield. The Gallery holds a variety of regular exhibitions showcasing work from all over Scotland. A taste of what is on offer can be found at www.aberfeldygallery.co.uk. They also provide mailing list facilities to keep interested parties up to date with what is on show in the gallery.

Lurgan Farm

While in the Aberfeldy area why not visit Lurgan Farm Shop, Camserney, by Aberfeldy. Here you will find local produce for sale including venison, free-range eggs, smoked meats, honey etc. They also have a large selection of home baking, organic foods and Scottish specialities. When the shop was built, a kitchen was included to enable the owners to produce ready meals, using their own meats - which have proved to be very popular with locals and visitors to the area. They also make jams using local fruit and baking. Their website www.lurganfarmshop.co.uk also provides an on line shopping esperience along with details of farm life.

The Scottish Crannog Centre

Anyone interested in archeology of a different kind must take the time and effort to visit The Scottish Crannog Centre, Kenmore, Loch Tay, Perthshire. Here you will find underwater archeology, with special events arranged throughout the visiting season to complement the work carried out by the centre staff. There is something here for everyone including trying out ancient methods for dying cloth plus much more. Their website www.crannog.co.uk lists all that is available at the centre.
