BEEFBURGERS

CHEESEBURGERS

FRESH APPLE RELISH

Mushrooms

Cheddar cheese

Granny smith apples

12 Open cap mushrooms (approx 8oz)
3 tblsps. Oil
1 bunch spring onions, trimmed and chopped
2 lb. minced beef
1 level tblsp French mustard
2 tblsps. Worcester sauce
1 tsp salt
3 tblsps freshly chopped parsley
6 oz fresh breadcrumbs
2 beaten eggs

2 1b minced beef
2 oz gruyere cheese
2 oz cheddar cheese
2 tblsps wocester sauce
Salt and pepper

3 tblsps oil

8oz eating apples, peeled, cored and diced
4 oz sultanas
4 oz dates, stoned and chopped
.25 pts malt vinegar
.25 tsp chilli powder
.5 tsp mixed spice
Salt

Wipe the mushrooms and remove stalks. Chop the stalks and cut the mushroom in half. Heat 1 tbls of the oil and gently fry the spring onions and chopped mushroom stalks till soft but not coloured. Add this mixture to the mince with the mustard, Worcester sauce, salt, parsley and breadcrumbs. Divide the mixture into 12 equal pieces and shape into round burgers. Using the remaining oil fry the burgers on each side for about 5 mins. remove the burgers and gently fry the mushroom halves and serve on top of each burger.

Mix all the ingredients together except the oil. Divide the mixture into 12 equal pieces and shape into burgers. Fry in the oil for 5 mins on each side.


Place all ingredients in a pan and simmer gently till thick and pulpy.
